1. About these terms
This website is operated by Tiger Motors Sdn Bhd (202101011961 (1412260-K)), Lot 1521, Block 218, Jalan Batu Kawa, KNLD, 93250 Kuching, Sarawak. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Buying a car from us is governed by the written sales agreement you sign, which takes priority over anything on this site.
2. Vehicle listings
Listings, photos, specifications and prices come from our inventory system and are refreshed at least hourly, but a car may be sold, reserved or repriced before the page updates. Photos are of the actual car but may not show every mark. A listing is an invitation to enquire, not an offer to sell. The car's availability, final price and condition are confirmed in writing before you pay anything.
3. Prices
Listed prices are in Malaysian ringgit and include JPJ ownership transfer, window tint and an Android player unless stated otherwise. Road tax and insurance are not included; they can be financed under Tiger Capital. Any booking fee or deposit, and whether it is refundable, is set out in writing when you pay it.
4. Loan estimates and Tiger Capital
Monthly instalments, interest rates and tenures on this site are estimates for illustration, based on flat rates we typically see. Approval, rate, tenure and loan amount are decided by the bank or financier, not by us. Tiger Capital downpayment financing (up to 20% of the car price) is subject to its own assessment and a separate written agreement. Tiger Capital only finances the downpayment, insurance and road tax for a car bought from Tiger Motors; it does not offer cash loans.
5. Test drives and viewing
Test drives are by appointment, and walk-ins are welcome during opening hours. The driver must hold a valid driving licence and follow our staff's instructions. You are responsible for traffic offences committed during a test drive.
6. Trade-ins
Trade-in values given before we see the car are indicative only. The final value depends on our inspection, the car's history checks and the outstanding loan settlement, and is confirmed in writing.
7. Delivery
Delivery is free to towns across Sarawak except Limbang. Delivery to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, costs RM2,500. Delivery dates are estimates and depend on loan approval, JPJ processing and transport. See delivery for details.
8. Tiger Certified warranty and guarantees
Tiger Certified cars come with a 1-year engine, gearbox and ECU warranty, with unlimited claims in the first 60 days, and a written guarantee of no flood and no total-loss history. Full terms are in the warranty document given at purchase. Damage caused by accident, misuse or modification after delivery is not covered. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 are not affected.
9. Reviews and third-party content
Google reviews shown on this site are published by their authors on Google and are shown unedited. Links to Google, WhatsApp, banks, financiers and social media lead to sites we do not control and are governed by their own terms.
10. Intellectual property
The Tiger Motors name, tiger logo, Tiger Certified and Tiger Capital marks, photos, videos, inspection reports and text on this site belong to Tiger Motors Sdn Bhd. You may share links to our pages, but may not copy or reuse our content without written permission.
11. Using this site
Do not misuse the site, for example by trying to gain unauthorised access, scraping it at a scale that affects its performance, or using it to send spam. We may suspend access to protect the site and its users.
12. Liability
We take care to keep this site accurate, but it is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on estimates, outdated listings or the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Malaysian law.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes are subject to the courts of Sarawak.
